Subdomains can be created to set distinct, dependent areas of your site. For example mail.example.com is a subdomain of example.com. If you would like to create a subdomain for your site:
• Log into your Plesk control panel
• Once logged in, click on the “Home” link from the right hand navigation
• Click on the “Subdomains” icon
• Give your subdomain a name
• Elect to use either the current FTP credentials for the subdomain or to create an FTP account specifically for this area of your site
• Choose which services to support
• Click the “OK” button to create your new subdomain
Subdomains can be removed from the previous screen by checking the box next to the subdomain name and clicking the “Remove Selected” link.
