There are three main types of passwords that you may want to change in Plesk: Your email account passwords, your FTP password, and the password to access Plesk itself. To change these passwords, follow the appropriate instructions below:

Changing Your Plesk Login Password

  1. Log into Plesk
  2. In the black bar at the top of the page, click on the My account link

  1. In the Preferences section, enter a new password in the New password field, and again in the Confirm passwordfield

  1. Click the OK button at the bottom of the page

Your Plesk login password has now been changed.

Changing Your Email Password(s) in Plesk

  1. Log into Plesk
  2. In the Mail section, click on Mail Accounts

  1. Click on the name of the email account for which you want to change the password

  1. Click on the Preferences icon

  1. Enter the new password in the New Password field, and again in the Confirm Password field

  1. Click the OK button at the bottom of the page - the email account password has been changed. Make sure you update the password in your local email client as well.
